Iron Rite Mangle was a band 1995 - 1999, from Kansas City, Massachusetts. These songs are original demos and singles for the unrealized Iron Rite Mangle album. F minus. We fail.

Mangle played mathy noise rock in the vein of Botch, Don Cabalero, The VSS, Fucking Champs, and Table. They played shows in the northeast and midwest with Dagobah, Neurosis, Idiot Flesh, Cheer Accident, Uz Jsme Doma, Shiner, Season to Risk, Molly McGuire, Pachinko, Zeni Geva, Esoteric, Coalesce, Arab on Radar, barkmarket, Craw, Today is The Day, and most importantly Wesley Willis and Quiet Riot.

Includes the band's home 4 & 8-track recordings. Studio sessions originally recorded at Sampson Studio with Keith d'Souza, Providence RI, Jan 1995 (Wrongathon, Lyme Fog, Cake, Champ, Fonz). MDI Studio, Plymouth, MA Feb 1995 (Frigonometry). Trainwreck Studio 1997 (Oafcrusha, VYPA). West End Studio 1998 with Paul Malinowski (Oafcrusha, Both Ways).

Original master tapes were lost, rented or destroyed in an actual flood at our brand new Trainwreck Studio goddamnit in 1998. When your tickets passed the lamp wont turn.

Other band members playing bass for a show or longer were Brandon Butler (Boys Life, Farewell Bend), Jason Blackmore (Molly McGuire, Death Eyes), and Paul Malinowski (from some band called Shiner or something).

Scott Chi Smith (from E.A.R.S.H.O.T.) sang with Mangle in 1996, until he quit to become a full-time professional Mr. T impersonator. When you're misbehaving and there's no trouble behind, you don't know where you've been.

Joel Hamilton played guitar with Chilmark, Players Club, Battle of Mice, Storm of Light, Book of Knots.

David Silver drummed with Human Shield, Antibodies, Afuma.

Richie Toomer played drums and bass with Chilmark, Pornhuskers and Sie Lieben Maschinen.

Josh Newton played guitar in Shiner, Autumn to Ashes, Reggie and the Full Effect, The Damned Things, Every Time I Die, Fire of 1666, Sie Lieben Maschinen. He guitar techs with Fall Out Boy, Band of Horses, Kings of Leon, and Sleater/Kinney.
